Staff Development Program

CGP Education's goals are to partner with school districts, schools and teachers and to share the accountability for classroom success. Together we can drive the Mathematics performance of the next generation of CA students. This success will be driven by a tailored and straightforward curriculum and a personalized and ongoing training program.

Each district adoption of our program comes with the following staff development:

• Year 1
  Unlimited hours of district, school and classroom professional development to assure every teacher is fully acquainted with the new program, its capabilities and the core Mathematics teaching strategies necessary for student success. We recommend 4-6 week training cycles throughout the first year of implementation.
  Cost — Included with district adoption.

• Years 2-6
  Up to 240 hours of district, school and classroom professional development. In addition to acquainting new teachers with the existing curriculum, we expand our Year 1 training to focus on specific district/school dynamics and provide custom-tailored training solutions.
  Elements such as Assessment, Mathematical Language, Classroom Management, Real-World Application, Mathematical Thinking and more are developed with the teaching staff. We recommend 6-8 week training cycles on an ongoing basis.
  Cost — First 240 hours included with district adoption. Subsequent training billed at $750.00/half-day, $1,500.00/day.
